Amatex Capital utilizes superior management technology and new capital to achieve high values for the assets in which it invests using a strategy called “activist investing.” It is a private equity firm established in 2015 by Alexandr Shkarupa, a self-made businessman who has developed close partnerships with large multinational companies and investment funds to bring best practices and global scale to Ukraine.

The highly competent professionals working at Amatex Capital are experts in corporate finance, investment banking, and legal matters with decades of experience in Ukraine. Many of the private equity firm’s team members possess more than a decade of experience working at high transaction levels in Ukrainian M&A, corporate advisory, private placement, and public placement deals.

In the future, Amatex Capital is looking at developing, owning, and operating large energy, exploration and mining, and investment projects in Ukraine while partnering with well-known, reputable, strategic Western partners. In 2017, Amatex entered into a strategic partnership with an American oil and gas technical boutique company. This strategic partnership combines several of Ukraine’s experts in the oil and gas sector who have served in technical field capacities for Shell, Chevron, and Exxon with many other international and local oil and gas experts who have explored and are currently developing opportunities in Ukraine.
